Introduction I am making these files to make it easier to navigate around your Mercedes-Benz Service Library CD manuals. Version 3.0 Release - 02 June 2007 - added support for Early Model Years. Service Library Installation Instructions If you have more than one set of Model Index sets, you can use the "Service Library" set as sort of a 'top collector' of the other Model Index files as they become available. This will allow access to ALL of your Service Library Models CD files from one location. To install, you simply download and unzip the Service Library.zip file. Then drag any individual Model Index Folder, eg, W124, W126, etc (that you have previously installed and have added the appropriate CD files to, per the instructions you recieved with the individual Indexes), into the Service folder. There will be dummy folders already there, so just say 'replace' when you copy. That's it! In other words, set up your individual Model Indexes first, then add them to the Service folder. Now if you have one (or more) of the Early Model Year CD sets (there are four volumes), just find and open the correct folder in the Service folder, eg, EMYvol1, EMYvol2, etc. Then, open each CD and copy all of the files in the CD to the appropriate folder within the EMYvolx folder, eg, EMYvolxCD1 or EMYvolxCD2. (Volume 1 only has one CD.) Please let me know if you are having trouble making it work. I hope that you all find the index an improvement to the CD experience and I also hope that you will let me know if/when you get it to work.
